Good Scores In Otaki Golf Competition
Saturday saw the second round of | the Tfris Harper Menjorial Cup j played by the Otaki Golf Club under ideal conditions. Some good cards were returned, the best being J. | Cooksley's 83 — 17 — 66, "with H..j Browne and P. Willis, both 96 — 27 ( — 69, next. The present leaders are P. Willis 138 and J. Cooksley 139. During the afternoon a small presentation was made to Miss P. Milligan, of Wellington, and Mr. M. Wilson (a club member) , who are being married in the near future. The programme for next weekend is: — Saturday: Second rounds of Dovey D'Ath Memorial Cup and consolation handicap. A stableford will be played in conjunction. Sunday: A mixed foursome over 12 holes will be played prior to a function in honour of Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Anderson. The draw will be at 1.15 p.m. sharp. This will be a general tea day.
