Australia Developing Atom Bomb Carrier

CANBERRA, June 13. Australian scientists are developing a new weapon consisting of a guided missile to carry atom bombs great distances. The British Government is urging Australia to impose niore stringent sedrecy safeguards on scientists associated with the Centrai Australian rocket range project. Britain insists that only scientists who will give unqualified assurances that they will comply with the secrecy requirements should "be employed on the project. Correspondents suggest that the reason why the United States Government is not cooperating is that it fears for the secrecy of scientific data, The data is supplied direct to Britain on condition that it is not used elsewhere.
