Quads Born To English Farm Manager's Wife
Received Monday, 10.40 a.nj. LONDON, June 13. Quadruplets have been born by caesarian operation to Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth. Good, aged 28, a f.arm manager's wife, of Coalpit Heath, Gloncestershire, who nntil she was X-rayed on June 11 expected twins. Mrs. Good is well and there is every hone for the babies — four -irls. Thev are: Bridget, 61 ounces; Frances, 64 ounces; Elizabeth, 72 A ounces) and Jennifer 62 ounce§i. All the babies cried lustily at birth exeept Jennifer, who needed resuscitation. The babies are being kept in oxygen chambers. They have a two-year-old sister, u,. M. Of the 15 sets of quadrunlets born in Britain in the last 12 years, the only other surviving set are three sons and a danghter, aged 12, livin~ at Huntirtgdonshire.
