Repr'esentations on behalf ■ of KewZealand wool growers for distribution of profits from the sale of wool acquired from 19.1!) to 1949 under thc wartime wool purchase agreement will probablv be nuide soon to the Government. This was revealed from inquiries made after receipt of a cable message from Australia announcing the inten tion of the. Australian Government to distribute among graziers protits esti mated at £30,000,000 from wool hold under the agreement. * A Wool Board official siated that the question of the ultimate distribution oi the surplus funds from the capital ac count had yet to be detenniued, but the nvoney would be available should the board 's representations be suecessful.
