This information was given to the Chamber of Commerce by Mr. G. A. Nicholls, who said that National Airways had been refused a special Tail car to transport passengers to and from Napier, the present terminal. National Airwavs were investigating the possioilities of using light planes to carry air mails. , A committee was set up to interview the Prime Minister, Mr. Fraser, in Gisborne next week on ub.e question of laying down stabilFed runways.
