Trying New Zealand For Second Time
WELLINGTON, June 9. Probably without precedent among all post-war arrivals from Britain, Mr. Oharles J. Hunter, who was a passenger with his wife and. daughter in the Mataroa today, arrived for the second time to settle in 'New Zealand. Mr. Hunter, who is a typewriter mechanic, stayed some months on the previous. occasion. It was not lack of accommodation — he and his wife had a flat in the Hutt Valley then — nor was it dissatisf action with living conditions that prompted the family' s return to England. It was hoonesickness felt both hy wife and himself, he said. However, only a few months afaer being back in England his wife was anxious to return to New Zealand. This time, instead of staying in Wellington, they are.going to Auckland. "We know what we have come to this time," said Mr. Hunter. " We'll make a go of it this time."
