Have Dogs A Forty Hour Week, Too?
"There is a law, I believe, thr.t a dog can't be worked after sundown," said Cr. W. G. Taylor during a discussion at yesterday's meeting of the Horowhenua Countv Council on the dog nuisance, when he suggested that farmers should be made to tie their dogs up at night. "It's the first time I've heard of a 40-hour week for dogs," said the chairman, Mr. A. M. Colquhoun, with a smile.
