It is expected that lirsl grade bulls wliiHi now sell at 0s 7d will be redueed in price to (5s or less and there is hope among golfers that the price of 5s 7d rCeently fixed for an English brand whicli sold in small quantity, may become the standard level; The new prices are likelv to operate within a montli, according to retailers, The price range of baljs is now from (5s 7d to 5s, all but one of severn! brands being English. An \ustralian manufaeturer already disjributing ,a first grade ball, intends, it is re])orto(], to put a new ball selling ut Js lOd, on the market about the time of the general change in prices.
