NEW PLYMOUTH, May 17. A New Pivmouth timi has been rehu sed a liceuce to import a modest supply of Union Jacks and Enipire flag.to meet the demand during tlie Royai tour next year. A director of the liriu said that the woven flags whieh it was intended to import are not made in New Zealand. The head of anotlier firni said: "We haven't got to the stage of applying for an import licem-e for, such goods, but we know they are in pretty poor supply in New Zealand."
