- .y 1 The Levin Corso Committee will hold a street and shop day on Fri- • day, the proceeds of which will be used for the , provision of relief ta the peoples of China and Greece. The position in these countries, Which did so much for the British Empire during the war, is great indeed. Medical oupplies and clothiiig are the top priority, and Mrs. H. B. Burdekin, the chairwoman pf the local committee, is anxiojas that Levin help tq lessen the suffering of these unfortungte people. In the pa§t Jhq citiz^ens of Levin and district have been generous in their support of such appeals, and it is to be hoped that th.ey will qnces agaip do their utmost to en'siire ihe success of the drive.
