Russia Protests At Greek Executions

Received Friday, 7 p.m. LONDON, May 14. Russia has asked the Greek Govemnfcnt to end immediately the present mass executions of Gleelt Democrats, says the Tass Agency. The Soviet Cliarge d'Affaires in Athens Was yesterday instructed to hand the following statement to tlie Greek Foreign Minister: ' ' The Boviet Government deems it necessarv to call the attention of the Greek Government to the Soviet people 's indignation at the mass execuof Greek democrats at present taking place in Greece. These executions of Greek patriots who foitght against the German invadefs can have no justification in_the eyes of the civilised werld. The Boviet public expects the immediate termination bf these executions which incense the conscience. The Boviet Government fully shares these sentiincnts of the Boviet public."
