"United Nations Appeal ; " : The members of the Poutu Pah eommittee have "decided to donate to) the Hungry Children .of ! the World appeal their takings from their eard party to be held on Monday, May 24. ,Returned Men's Meetings At a meeting of the Returned Services' Association, the returns of the poll as to what night the meetings should be held were counted, Saturday night winning by six votes. Card Winners The Poutu Pah committee held another of its card evenings in the Laurvig's Hall.on Monday evening. There was a good attendance and winners were Mrs. R. Roberts and Mrs. W. Radford, draw and Mr. R. Sands and Mr. R.
