Guilty Of Forging Totalisator Tickets
CHRISTCHURCH, May 12, * After a retirement of an hour, the iurv returned a verdict of guilty 011 both counts agaihst Arthur Gyril Vin cent, aged' 50, auetioneer, of Ashburton. Vincent was charged in the Supreiqe Court before Mr. Justiee Fleming, with the theft of £5 from the Ashburton County Raeing Club and the forgery qf five totalisator tickets. Vincent wras employed at a selling window in tho totalisator on September 13. The jury added a strong recommendation to, , mercy.
