Mr. de Valera Coming to The Dominion

AUCKLAND, May 12. Mr. de Valera, former Prime Minister of Eire, will arrive at Auckland by air : 011 May 25 and will spend a few days in the Dominion as the guest of the Government. This information was received from Dr. E. J. Kiernan, Minister for Eire in Australia, by the Iriph | Boeiety, Auckland, Mr, de Valera wifi j be accompanied by Mr. Prank Aiken, j former Minister of Finance in Eire. Advice received by the society said j Mr. de Valera would arrive on the i morning of May 25 and wtuld leave by ! air from Mangere for Wellington the same day. He was to address a public meeting in Wellington that njght and would return to Auckland on May 27He was expeeted to leave foy Sydney on May 29. He would not visit any othar parts of New Zeaiand. Tt was also stated in Auckland that arrangements were being made by the Irish Society for Mr. de Valera to give a public address on the night of May 27. Mr, de Valera, who was defeated in the Prime Ministerial election in TJire in Februarv, gave an address in Melbourne on Tuesday night and is expeeted to address audiences in other parts of Australia. He went to Australia following an invitation to attend the Melbonrne diocesan eentenary eelehrations.
