Coih-. niencing at -10.30 a.rn. with irunning races for the chidren, followed by seven-a-side football matches, nfarching exhibitions, pipe band items, competitions, rourth -graae, and finishing with one of the best senior Rugby matches seen on the Shannon Domain for many yearS, the day was indeed a very full and enjoyable one for the many who attended. Winners of the running races were: Brian Richards, Nora McEwen, Raymond Harris, Clara Truman and Warren Vinsen. Winners of competitions were: M. McLean, V. J. Bateman, N. R. WoodSiaTS'TT':^le holders, Mesdames E L. Hyde, A. Birss, B. Clayton and v j. Bateman were kept very busv throughout the day, while the gatekeepers, Messrs. I. Bills * 'E. Peny and E. Chesteiy gave.tneir services free, of charge.
