WELLINGTON,. May 11. Good quality wool. including. lambs' wool, was iu keen demand at late mar-; ket rates at the iiual Wellington, wool sale of tiie'current season today.- Priees for these grades slio\Ved an impro-ve-tnent on those rulihg at the laat »wobl sale lield iu Wellington late in Mareh. For averago to inferior grades values \Vere a shade weaker. The offering included a 1'air amount of 5x0156X8' bin'ned wool which had lxeen well prepared and reabsed good prices. Five^ thousaml bales of surplus. -\\*artime stocks were offered by Joint Organisation in accordttiice v ith its policy of feeding these aceumulated stocks gradually on to the market. The official repovt issucd by the Wellington Woolbrokers' Associatiou stated that a catalogue totalling 21,500 Ixales of the current season 's wool and 5000s bales of stock wool were offered. The formor consisled of late shorn wool from the Wairarapa, Mauawatu and Nelson dis.tri.ctri.
