Received Monday, 12.20 a.m. SEOUL, May 10. The radio in the Russian occupied North Korea, today told Lieut.-General John Hodge, American commander in South j Korea, "You better get out of j Korea with your clothes pack- 1 ed." The broadcast which was from representatives of all political and social organisa- j tions of North Korea, advised I him to "abandon the attempt ! to hold a separate election to- 1 morrow," adding "the move- ; ment to oppose the election is going full force." The Russian controlled Pyongyang radio issued a daylong programme instructing South Koreans to prevent the election by all means. Meanwhile in South Korean, the police say they have seized Com- \ munist documents containing the orders, "cut telephone lines, strengthen attacks on towns, threaten election officials and villagers and burn election booths. Late on Monday to destroy ballots, or if the booth is too heavily guarded, to cast blank ballots or vote for all candidates." The violence is expected to reach_ a climax tomorrow. 'American forces are standing by to act if the situation becomes out of hand. Specially drafted constables have been alerted throughout South Korea. Jeeps mounting machine guns and carrying armed policemen will patrol c o u ntr y roads.
