SPECIAL "HELP THE CHILDREN" FILM TONIGHT
The Mayor of Levin, Mr., H. B. Burdekin has secured a special film on the present world-wide appeal by the United Nations Organisation for aid for. the children of Europe and Asia. It will be screened at ' the Regent Theatre, Levin, tonight and tomorrow night and will be prec£ded|by a short talk on the subject By Mr. Burdekin. ;,r * An indieation of ,the - Support that is forthcoming, was made by Mrs. Burdekin today, who said that she had received from the Queen * Street Hall Ladies' Guild, a coli lection of beautiful knitted toys to be sold for the benefit of - the appeal.
