Dance Recital Was Popular Attraction This Week

. Youth displayed lts talents m the iiegent Theatre on Wednesday dght before a large audience, the nccasion being a dance recital by bhe Palmerston North and Levin pupils . of the Loma Hepworth 3chool of Dan'cing. The quality of the performance was of high class, and seldom has Levin been treated to* such a diversity of entertainment as witnessed before the f ootlights on this occasiottv . . Under the personal supervision of Miss Loma Hepworth, the artists provided a non-stop shpw and full credit must be given to her for the large amount- of tuition given to over 50 pupils, to bring them to such a high standard. Some exquisr ite cQstumes , were seen in the various items. The curtain rose to reveal 24 performers in traditional Scottish dress; the blaze of colour making a pretty sight as the pupils performed dhe Highand Fling, to the music supplied by Pipe-Major AYorston. Special mentioh. must be made of the tepder age of some of the performers, the under ]five-year-olds becoming instant favourites -with jthe audience, by their confidence. 'The tiny tots were P.
