Australian Visitors Leave Levin
Thev party of Australian ex•i5ervicemen wound up a ' pleasant stay in Levin yesterday, when they were taken on a motor tour of the district by their R.S.A. hosts. Prior to leaving by bus for Wanganui, the party was entertained at morning tea by the executive. At nine o'cloek the delegates paid a visit to Horowhenua Coilege where, in the assembly hall, they were introduced to the pupils. Aschool teacher member of the party, Mr. J. E. Reeves, entertained the children with a few reminiscences of his travels in the Dominion and school life in Australia. "You have a eountry of whi'ch you can be justly proud, and I am anxious to see all of it that I can," Mr. Reeves told his young audience. After the principal, Mr. N. A. Byrne, had thanked the visitors far coming along, he called on.the children to honour the AuStrallans with a rendition of the popuiar song, "WaltzingNMatilda."
