Statement Promised
. When the cement position was communicated to the office of the Ministry of Supply today by a representative of "The Chronicle," it was learnt that Mr. Nordmeyer was out of vtown, but would be returning at the beginning of next week. An assurance was, however, given by the Minister's secretary that the facts would he . placed before Mr. Nordmeyer, and a statement issued as early as possibl'e.
