1 Mrs. G. Harper has returned to Otaki from Wellington. .Miss O. Loughlin, of. Mill Road, has returned from a!n 1 extended vacation in Taranaki. Mr* M: B. Ryder, who has been visiting Christchurch, left by carfor Wanganui. Miss Ula Inglis and a friend, Miss. Irene '• Mason, of Wellington, were weekend visitors to Otaki. Mrs. George Brown and her small son, who* have been visiting Mr. and Mrs. Stan Elliott, .have returned by plane to Westport. Business premises in Otaki were closed from 2 to 4 p.m. today 'as a mark of respect to 'the memory of the late Mr. H. Nicolson. Miss V. Taylor, of Rangiuru Road, has been discharged from 'hospital and hopes to return to work next week. The many friends of Mrs. Robinson, of Rahui Road, ' Otaki, will b€ pleased to learn that she is progressing favourably after ar operation in a Palmerston Nortl private hospital.
