Chinese Junk With Cargo Of Contraband
— ^ Received Mondav, 10.-15 p.m. TOKIO, May 3. B.O.O. F. intelligence officers last night eaptured a Chinese junk near ' 1 wa kuni, carrving millions of yen worth of eontraband cargo. The liaul ineluded lO.oooibs of sugar valued at 18,000,000 yen, 20 bags of drugs and large quantities of eigarettes and tobaeeo. Sixteen Chinese and tliree Koreans wlio coniprised the erew were also eaptured. The eaptain, who was abesut at Osaka where he was endeavouring' to arrange the sale of the cargo, is stiil sought by the British Oeeupation Forces and •bipanese police. Tlfe erew said they louded the goods at a port south of Bhanghai. ]
