Election Necessary For School Committee
An eiection will 'be necessary to decide the Shannon School Committee. Ten *nominations were received to fill the nine positions on the committee. Those nominated were: — Messrs. A. E. Jeff-rey, L. J. Bowler, I. Peni, S. J. Free, F. J. Lucinsky, E. H. Barber, F. E. Bradey, R. E. Vinsen, Mesdames C. Stern and W. Easton. All with the exception of Mr. R. E. Vinsen are sitting members of the committee. The eiection will be held at the biennial meeting of householders which will b,e held at the Shannon School at 7.30 p.m. on Monday. As public interest in the affairs of . the school is at present high, it is' expected that a recora meeting will be held. However, it should be pointed out that the administration of the school is a very important matter and every householder should make an.effbrt to attend.
