Burmese Plan Big Attack On Communist Rebels
Receive'd "Friday, 10.50 a.m. RANGOON, April 29. Plans are being completed for a big attack by Burmese troops on Communist rebels and Dacoits in Central Burma. About 10,000 Communists and Dacoits are believed to be concentrated north of the Saliveen River. The Government hopes to wipe out resistance before the beginning of the Monsoon'in the middle pf May. It claims that 450 Communists have been killed during April for the loss of ten men.
