Election Needed For Levin School Committee
An election to decide the nine members of the Levin SChool Committee will be held on Monday next. This Will be the first time for ten years that an election has been necessayy, ana it will excite a "great deal or interest in the- district. The sehool committee controls all the affairs of the school for the Education Board and Department, and is elected every two years. All* householders in the school's district are allowed- to vote in this election, which will be held at the biennial meeting at the school, All persons in residence in Levin, especially parerits, are urged to attend the meeting as only a representative gathejing can fairly decide on those candidates who will do most good for the school as a whole and the children in particular. Besides the election, it is considered that some very important matters relative to the school will be discussed at the meeting. It 'is to be hoped that the question of better school bus services will arise, as this matter has been a sore point "in the district for some time. . " . Given below is the list' of candidates for the Levin School Committee, sitting members being designated by an asterisk: *Bull, Hartland; :!!Corry, John; *Kennerley, Alfred Charles; Long, Raymond Hector; ^Malcolm, Finlay Oliver; *Ransom, Arnold Regiiiald; *Shaw, Alexander James; Shilton, William Leslie Claude; j :;:Todd, David Pollock; and Whiteman,. Clarence Admiral. I There are ten nominations and nine members are required, The two rejfciring members of the committee are Messrs. W. R. Jack and R. W. Young.
