Received Wednesdav, 7 p.m. LOXDOX, April 21. More people were at work at the end of Februarv than at any time since the end of the war. The number in indus trv. commerce and civilian serviceincreased bv 27,000. In March 11,00 nien and women went every week inro jobs where tliev were most needed for the national output. Agriculture gained 5000, textiles 4500, iron and steel 4400. xnines 2000 and potteries 1300. Only one man had to be direeterl into a job during March, and he had alrearlv '-efused four offered by an employmenr exchange. • I
