Compensation amounting to £1200 was awarded to Robert James Tabor by Mr. .Tustice Cornish and ilessrs. F. W . .//lOomb-s iml .T..AL .Dalft (assess.ors) in the Compensation Court at Palmerston Nortli yesterday when a decision waigiven on Tabor's claim for £2500 from the Minister of Works for loss of proli's and disturbance resulting from the taking of land leased by Tabor at Fitz herbert for Massey Agricultural Col College. Costs were granted to Tabor fo--counsel, 50gns and disbursements. an allowance of lOgns for valuer's fee. each of tlie two assessors , ,".()gns, ano lOgns extra travelling allowance for Mr. J. M.
