Received hlonciay, 7 p.m. SINGAPORE, April 12. hfilitary and police operations against the' Malaya-Siam bofder l.andits were suecessfuily concluded yesterday.- Fighting occurred yesterday between the police and bandits in the soutli valley of Aver Ivarah on the Grik Road, and north of Kuala Kangsar, but there were no aasualties on either side. The police forces burned down a big military jungue tfaining school known to be the headquarters of the bandits, which was the inain objectiv.e of the expedition. The police have made ' ' important discoveries" involving political issues* which they are not prepared to disclose but further action is expeeted to he taken.
