R.S.A, Bowling Club Elects First Officers
At a meeting in the R.S.A. rooms on Wednesday night officers, were elected for the newly-formed Levin R.S.A. Clark Memorial Bowling Club. The donor of the grounds to be used by the club. Mrs. W. Lett was elected the club's first patroness. Other officers were as follows: — President: Mr. H. B. Burdekin; vice-president: Mr. W. C. Childs; seeretary: Mr. W. Meddings; treasixrer: Mr. E. Lacev: general committee: Messrs. F. N. Fletcher, R. T. Martin, A. Stewart, H. G. Mackay and E. Cooksley, Following th'e election of officers, the rules for the new club were duly adopted, and a report read containing the advice of an expert from Palmerston North on the laying out of greens. it was decided to put the work of constructmg" the areen in hand as soon as nossible.-.
