Mid-Air Mutiny In Czech Aircraft

Reeeived Friday, 1Q.35 a.m. LONDON, April 8. The Acting Czech Consul, M. Xarel Dvorak, sai'd that a Czech plane whieh landed without warntng at an American zone- airfield on April 6 was diverted from its eourse is the result of .a midrair mutiny, ays the Associated Press' Munich ;orrespondent. The American authorities said -he plane contained Czech pilots, who said they were fleeing from Czechoslovakia. M. Dvorak saM that while the olane yvas en route from Prague to Bratisiava, th'' passengers forced the pilot at pistol point to leave the controls and a former Czech pilot, who flew with the RA.F, in wartime, took the controls. The plane then doubled back on its 'oute and headed for Germany. M. Dvorak said that when the olane landed the former R.A.F. oilot asked whieh passengers an'd rew wanted to stay in the Amerian zone. Seven person s, includng the plane's original pilot, reurned to Prague. M. Dvorak issued visas for their return. The plane will probably remain n ihe z.)ne until the Czech authori:ies send pilots to fly it back.
