Levin Tennis Club Wins Competition
The Levin Lawn Tennis Club reeetly won the B grade inter-club competition by defeating Otaki by 11 sets to 5. The Otaki team was - one player short, so three sets went to Levin by default, a ladies' singles, a ladies' doubles, and one combined doubles. .Tomorrow the club will play the final round of the Captain's Trophy, and on Sunday the final round oi the President's Trophy. AU members, especially those in lead,ng positions, are urged to attend. The season will elose tomorrow week, Saturday, April 17, when a doubles tournament will be held, play commeneing at 10 a.m. There will be a charge of 2s 6d -for eaeh player to cover the- cost of balls and afternoon tea. During the afternoon trophies won during the season will be presented. ...
