FORCED EACK BY MOUNTAINOUS SEAS WELLINGTON, April 7. Torrilie seas driven into Wellington honds by ;t southerly gale, caused the Nelson passenger steamer Arahura tf return to Wellington tonight. The Arahura sailed at tho usual time and attempted to pass through the harbnur entrance but was foreed to put back by mountainous waves. She is expeet ed. to sail for Nel.son at 6.30 tomorrow providing the weather moderates.
