Rahui Footballers Visit Porirua
A very enjoyable day was spent by the' players of Rahui last Saturday, when three teams played Porirua. Players and supporters were out in full strength. As Poritua are a strong club, bright and attractive football was the order of the day. Rahui fourths won 22 to 11, Rahui thirds lost 6 to 9 and Rahui juniors won 6 to 5. After the games Rahui were entertained by Porirua- and Mr. Slite, president of Porirua, stressed the benefit of these friendly games and hoped' Rahui's visit would hecome an annual one. Mr. -A. Watt, delegate of Rahui, assisted by Messrs. C. Pussell and C. Lindsay (coaches) , and Messrs. A. Watt, H. Winterburn and D.es. Smith suitably replied. A return game' has been arranged and will feature as a field day next Saturday, when three games, starting at 1 p.m., will be played.
