Obituary
MR. STAN MOFFATT The sad news reached Otaki yesterday that Mr. Stan Moffatt, at one time a well-known and highly respected resident of Otaki, but more recently of Raumati South, had passed away. The late Mr. Moffatt had not enjoyed goo'd health for some eonsiderable . time, but his passing was unexpected. Mr. Moffatt was well-known in Otaki and district. For a long peri'od he was a merhber of the well-known butchery business of Moffatt and Sons, carrying on the business now ■known as McBeth and Sons. Mr. Herbert Moffatt, who 'died. some years ago! was his father, but his mother still resides at Waikanae. The late Mr. Stan 'Moffatt had been secretary of the Raumati Bowling Club for a lengthy period, a position he oceupisd at the time of his death. He was present on the green the 'day prior to his death. Blake and': Ebb Simpson, and two brothers Gil (Marton) aird Hughie (Otaki) . Much sympathy will be .extended to the bereaved.
