GISBORNE, April 5. " The first cases of facial eczema in numbers in any one fiock on the Gisborne flats was repofted during ' the weekend. Six lambs positively developed" the disease and 14 others showed symptoms out of a mob of 100. I Mr. J. Simpson, officer in charge I of the facial eczema researdh station at Manutuke, stated that the I conditioh of the livers of affected ■ iambs which had been killed showed severe eczema.
