Townsend and Paul, Ltd., fruit and produce merchants, Wellington, report that during the past week the market has been in fairly short supply of all lines of both fruit and vegetables, with values being accordingly attractive. There is a keen demand for choice tomatoes, grapes, Chinese gooseberries, plums and peaches, while all varieties of green vegetables are realising excellent values.
