Parliament May Meet Earlier
WELLINGTON, April 2. Parliament may be called together earlier than the norma] time this year ko that rat ification of the Geneva trade agreement can be discussed. At a press eonference today the Minister of Finance, ilr. Nash, said the last dale on which New Zealand could become a signatory wafi June 30 and it might be necessary for Parliament to assenible a week " or even, a month earlier than usual. Althoug'h the Go-v-.eniment had power to ratify the Havana Charter' without discussion bv the House, it was not likely that such ^ an ini})(ytant agreement would be rati- '^4 fied before Parliaiiient met.
