Ohau Rifle Club Experts Successful Year
The Ohau Miniature Rifle Club beld its fourth annual meeting iii fche Ohau Hall Recently, when some 20 membefs attended. The keenness shown augurs another successiui • season ahead. - The president, in reviewing the last season's operations, remarked r on the very sound position the club /; had.built up for itself during three years. Although the . statement of . accounts showed only £1 11s lOd in hand, there were 6000 rounds of ammunition and "1200 targets ready for use. The election of officers resulted as follows: — Patron : Mr. G. P. Catley; president: Mr. V. G. Hunter; seeretaf y-treasurer : Mr. E. J. McLeavey; 'vice -president's: Messrs. P. R. Catley and J. G. Horn; delegates to H.M.R.A.: MeSsrs. V. G. Hunter and - J. G. «Horn; executive committee: Messrs. F.-Bryce, F. Haley, C. Eagle;, N. Wehipeihana, J. McCartney, E. » Findsen and S. Aanenson; range officers: Messrs, V. Hunter and F. Bryce; ammunition officers: Messrs. E. J. McLeavey and. N. Wehipeihana; scorefs: Messrs. J. G. Hoi'n, Junr., F. Catley, C. Eagle and J. Bowiing. ... Duty officers were also- elected and the club will open the season on Monday' night with an own start sweepstake and cash prize. All intending members are invited.
