! Miss R. Jeffrey, of Moutoa, spent the Easter holidays*'at Trentham. Mr. I. Seaton was ah Easter visitor to Bunnythorpe. Mr. G. Fitzgerald, of the local Bank of New Zealand staff, is-holi-daying in Christchurch. Miss I. Vasey, of Nathan Terrace, spent the weekend with •friends at Levin. Mr. R. Hayes, Junr., of Christchurch] is visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. Hayes, Engle's Road. Mr. and Mrs. E. Hook, of Grey Street, are local visitors to Paraparaumu Beach. Mr. George Taylor was a visitor to Shannon over the holidays and was the guest of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Taylor, Stout Street. Holidaying in Shannon over the weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Seblin. They were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Gunning, Stout Street. Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Bovis, of Stout Street, are spending a few days with their daughter and son-in-law at Longburn. Mr. Doug. Fuller arrived home yesterday to spend a week or - so with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. Fuller, of Moutoa. Mr. R. Saunders, of Thompson Street, who has been an inmate of the Palmerston North Hospital f or some time, was able to return home yesterday. . The friends of Mr. J. Hallam, Mr. George Rix and Mr. J. Nash, who are all inmates of the Palmerston North Hospital, will be pleased to learn that they are now progressing favourably. Although recently returned from hospital, Mr. E. J. Gunning, Stout Street, still finds it necessary to visit Palmerston North for treatment. It will be some time yet before he. will be recommencing work.
