DUNEDIN, March 29. . The Hamilton ' Caledonian Society 's Pipe Band won the A Grade ehampionship and the New Plymouth Caledonian Society !s Pipe Band the B grade championship at the Dominibn pipe barni championship cehtennial contest which was coneluded today with test ;selee- . tious. It was in every respect: . thii greatest contest of its kind held ,in the Dominion in respect to entries of baiids, outstanding performanees and attendances. The New Plymouth Band lias been responsible for sonie particuiarly line performances at the contest and no doubt will be seen in the higher grade in future.
