Shooting At Hautere
Last Saturday the Hautere Rifle Club continued the championship series with" a 'do.uble . ten at 300 yards. The conditions were tricky at times, a head on fishtail wind varying ficm either side making sudden changes and requiring constant watching. Top for the day was B. F. Monk with 45 — 47, and he thus wins Mr. Stan Harvey's trophy. The following are the individual seores, the main being 47: B. F. Monk 45 — 47 — 2 — 93, J. Simcox 37 — 43 — 14 — 91, F. Next Saturday the third series will continue with a double ten at 500 yards.
