' ' •*. /After discussion the following resolution was carried unaniiuously: 4 ' That ip view of- "tlie grave international situatiou this conference ' respectfuilv requests the JMinister of Tndustries and Commerce to state whether it is eorreet that a senior ohicer of the Price Tribunal is an avowed Communist or subscribes to the Communist policy; further, that in view of the recent utterances of the Prime Minister the Govcrnment be urged immediately to ascertain the number of Communists holding senior positions in tlie Civil tServiee." A copy of the resolution was telegraphed to the Prime Minister and Minister of Industries and Commerce. |
