-v The monthly meeting of the Moutoa branch of the Women's Division of Federated Farmers was held in the Moutoa Hall last Tuesday with Mrs. S. W. Barber in the ichair. .There was a good attend'ance of members and .Mrs. T.- Fuller gave a most anteresting report on the.Manawatu provincial executive meeting. : • . • ■Hyacinth bulbs. were . distributed by .Mrs.-r L. Carter to> gardening circle members. It .was deci'ded that prizes ? for the winuers of the gardening circle . competition for the yearishouldcbe' £1 for hrst, 12s 6d for second and 8s for third. .;i. A: very : interesting 'talk on "Scotland,". -the hew rest : home which the " W.D.F.F; : has purchased *in Auckland, was given by Mrs. S. W. Barber. Final arrangements Were made; for the forthcoming Paddyrs Market, which is to be held in the Moutoa Hall next Saturday/ It was. decided to hold a dance in the evening.- The bring-and-buy- stall, which was conducted during "the afternoon to raise funds' for the gardening 'circle, proved very pl'ofltable. Hostesses for the afternoon were Mesdames T. J. Newth and L. Sanson an-d Miss S. Newth.
