'wefe nicely pr.epared and choice roses bedecked the path. The weather was warm and fine, and on the' ikwn wjsre stalls bearing produce and cakes. Business was brisk. /The party was incrqased by a special bus of ladies from Levin, and some were present from IVSianakau. Competitions were in the capable hands of young church members, and with aftprnoon .tea, tfie function proved successful. The ladies are to be commend'ed on their worthy effort to help . the Solomon Islands Mission and Maori mi&ision Work in our own land. - * - .
