TENNIS TOURNAMENT
The Manawatu Lawn Tennis Association's southern area tourna- . ment, which commenced * last weekend in Levin, will be concluded on Saturday. There is a large number of handieap events still to be decided, and piayers are asked to report promptly at 9 a.m. at the college courts. All finals will be played in the ©.fternoon on the Levin Tennis Club's courts from 2 p.m. onwards, with the men's championship smgles final at approximately 3 p.m. This match was the only championship event not played last •weekend. The finalists are M. R. Smith and H. Benning. ^ A eqfdial invitation is again extended to members of the public, who are assured of some entertaming and exciting teniiis.
