N.Z. Golf Team to Visit Australia
Advice that the Goiineil of the New Zealand Golf Association* has accepted an invitation from the Australian Golf Unibn to send a team to the Commonwealth this year was received tonight from Mr. G. O. Sutton, secretary of the Association. The New Zealand team, he said, would eonsist of four players and a player manager. . No itinerary had been finalised but the team would be back in time to -compete in the national ehampionships. The opinion that R. H. Glading, the New Zealand open champion, was at his* best eapable of beating the Australian peer of golf, Ossie Pickworth, was expr.essed in Meibouine last week by Bobby Br&wn, the young Victorian champion who visited the Dommion last year0
