Salvation Army Observes Harvest Festival

.The Levin Corps of the Salvation Arany -held' th'efr harvest thanksgiving service on Sunday,,- conducted -by Adjutant Elhott Major.. A large eongregation was : present at both the morning and eyening services. A dedication' service for tv/o infants was held in the morning. following which the Sunday School :?cholars presented specially decorated baskets,, which -were arranged on a special altar. The evening service was.followed by a social gathering and many favourite hymns were sung. - Miss Joy Muirhead, a Sunday School ^cholar, rendered solo vocal items. Supper was then served. r The culmination of the weekend thanksgiving was the presentation last night of a programme by the Levin Methodist Church choir, led by Mr. F. Baumber. During the evening, Mr. Baumber and Miss Margaret Irving rendered solo items. The evening concluded with the sale of harvest goods, the proceeds of which will be given to the Salvation Army orphahages in* this province;
