The restrictions will not eoine into foree before next week, but it is stated that if the position has not improved by tlien, they will probably be imposed immediately. The Board lias decided that' as consumption is still runni-iig in exeess of its (jnota, the oniy solution left to the Board is to iinpose cuts. The ge.neraimanager will report to the Board next Monday as toAhe basis on which the cuts will bo imposed.
