Revival Of Interest In Hockey
A move is now being made to reviye interest in the ga;me of hockey in Levin and a meeting of all Mterested persons has been convened by Mr. L. V. Trass and wiil b'e ' held in the Band Room,. Bath Stfeet," Levin, at 7.45 p.m. morrow night. Mr. Trass has had considerable experience in the game and hopes to interesf many of the older players in the district sq that they pan ipstruct and encourage the younger players coming on. With every growing community •comes the need for an enlargehient of the type of sports played apd the inauguration pf hockey teams would give many people dn opportunity of participating" in "a winter sport that is open to both sexes and has becom'e increasingly popular during the past few years. The Levin Bprpugh Council has a^reed to receive an application for the use of the Weraroa Reserve from a responsible bOdy.
